"CARDINAL POWER KIDS" GYMNASTICS
A modified movement and gymnastic program for children
who are developmentally delayed or physically challenged
Welcome to our exciting world of specialty gymnastics at Team Central Gymnastics. We are a 22,000 sq. ft. Gymnastic Training Center unique to St. Louis and one of only a few in the nation. We offer a modified gymnastics and movement program endorsed by medical staff and physical therapists. Physical therapists have assisted with the selection of special equipment and development of curriculum to enhance the physical and emotional progress of each special child. Wheelchair bound children are also welcome.
Our trained staff create a fun, safe and educational environment. Our program develops flexibility, coordination, strength and self-confidence. We are also a Special Olympic Gymnastic Training Site. Special Olympics training is an option for children ages 9 & up.

Your child will experience the thrill of gymnastics on special modified equipment:
In-ground trampolines, cargo net, foam tumbling pits, tumbling floors, balance beams parachute games, climbing rope, bars, modified girls, boys and preschool equipment

WEDNESDAY 4:00 - 4:50 p.m.

May 2002, October 2003, June 2005 , and June 2006 grants each for $2,500 to support our Cardinal Power Kids Program!!!
The funds will be used to purchase special equipment, support on going staff education, and offer student scholarships. Thank you also to Enterprise Rent A Car Foundation for a $1,500 donation and to Anheuser-Busch for their two grants totaling $1,300 for our Cardinal Power Kids Programs.
Special Groups such as Ranken-Jordan, Giant Steps, and Special School District attend Cardinal Power Kids modified field trips throughout the year. See comments below.
"Cardinal Power Kids Classes are extremely beneficial to the physically and mentally disabled children at Ranken Jordan. Patients participate in many activities including, but no limited to, obstacle courses, balance beam, foam pit, and stretching. The most rewarding aspect about this experience is the activity level of the patients and the look on their faces. They are always smiling and participate more during Cardinal Power Kids Classes than when they are in a therapy session at Ranken Jordan. The children are having so much fun and are instructed by a new person. They don't realize they are receiving therapy while playing in the gym"
